2020: The climate turning point

What brought us to this point and is the climate crisis at its highest peak?

The moment of the climate crisis has come to behold human life and many naturalist and environmentalist are warning world leaders to act on it or we are going to face climate crisis we have never faced in our history.

When we talk about history, it's pretty much- clear that our climate is changing since the start of pre-industrial time. People started to consume fossil fuels to manufacture things and due to which the emission of greenhouse gas i.e. carbon gas has been increasing ever since. Only after many years that people came to realize the effects of carbon gas emission and they planned to introduce electric appliances and stuff in people's life. Looking at history, it says that the climate has raised to about 1.5°C and that's a drastic change in temperature. The rising has not stopped and while it should be falling, it is rising higher and higher. It is said that we will have our temperature increased up to 3°C by the end of the century, if not acted on it. Many coastal cities will drown into seas and Earth will know the effect of the climate crisis.

The change in temperature has caused the drowning of the Antarctic surface to the ocean . It says half the volume of Antarctic has drowned already. About ⅓ of Amazon has been caught down and we are releasing more carbons in the air than ever. The world is changing and it's changing in front of us. Sir David Attenborough gives world leaders and climate scientists a clear note on the climate crisis. He says," We have to realize that this is not playing games. This is not just having a nice little debate, arguments and then coming away with a compromise." He also mentioned that we know how to prevent this- that's the paradoxical thing that we know we have to take steps but we are refusing or longing to accept that we have to do it.

Last year, people all around the world came across the streets to participate in climate crisis movements, which gave everyone a clear note that we have to act on it, if it's not now then never. The moment has come to change and while the US is warning world leaders that climate change window is closing, the 2020 year is going to be the year that world leaders are going to have a problem in cutting down their emissions.

The climate change bringing out ever longing bush fires, heavy rainfall and changes in world structure can be somehow significantly slow down. But for this ,the world has to cut off their emissions to net zero by the year 2050, which may become possible. The introduction of electric vehicles, electric appliances, planting trees and making technology that helps in doing that faster can bring a good result. Hope , we become aware of the facts and start to work on it because the world is changing and it's not changing for good.
