Champion League highlights.

So what happened in yesterday's champion league games and up to now?

The first league of round of 16 has now completed as of yesterday's games between Manchester-City vs Real Madrid and Juventus vs Lyon were the last of first league. 

So what happened at yesterday's game and who won it?

1) Real Madrid vs Manchester-City (1-2)

Manchester-City had a dramatic win at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium after Danial Carvajal fouled Sterling and gave a penalty advantage. Kevin De Bruyne was the choice and he didn't give the goalkeeper a chance to predict his shot. Real was ahead at 70 minutes when Isco scored at 60 minutes. But unfortunately, they lost the game with Jesus scoring at 78 minutes and Ramos sent out of the field at 86 minutes along with De Bruyne penalty kick at 83 minutes.

2) Juventus vs Lyon (0-1)

It was very unusual of Juventus to get defeated with just a goal. The Lyon performed tough after Tousart scored goal on 31 minutes. Lyon changed their tactic to full defensive after they had a lead of 1-0. However, the game was fully dominated by Juventus with 64% and 36% difference in possession between them.

3) Atletico Madrid vs Liverpool (1-0)

Being an oppressing team on EPL, Liverpool lost its first round of 16 league game with Atletico Madrid in their home ground on Madrid. Saul from Atletico Madrid scored a goal in just 4 minutes and able to maintain the lead.

4) Dortmund vs PSG (2-1)

It was very intriguing to watch two football giant face each other at the biggest football game. The game between two was not of many differences as the stat of their game is almost the same. But a young magical goal scorer Haland showed his magic once again in the game scoring 2 goals and giving Dortmund a win. Neymar scored from PSG.

5) Atalanta vs Valencia (4-1)

Valencia was badly beaten by Atalanta and it was very unexpected that they lost the game with 4-1. Halteboer from Valencia scored goals on 16 and 62 minutes while Illicic and Freuler scored in 42 and 57 minutes respectively. Likewise, from Valencia, Cheryshev scored on 66 minutes.

6) Tottenham vs RB Leipzig (0-1)

It looks like Tottenham has still a lot to improve as they still are struggling with their game performance and lacking a good defensive system. RB were lucky to get a penalty on 58 minutes and Werner scored the goal.

7)  Chelsea vs Bayern (0-3)

Like Tottenham, Chelsea are still under pressure of developing good gaming. Though they are performing pretty well in EPL, it looks like the team is still not good enough to play on the International game. The team was playing quite enough until Gnabry scored two goals on 51 and 54 minutes with Lewandowski scoring on 76 minutes. 

8) Napoli vs Barcelona (1-1)

Last but not least, the game between Napoli and Barcelona was very competing as both the team ended up draw. Both the team scored one goal each. Mertens from Napoli scored a goal on 30 minutes while Griezmann from Barcelona scored on 57 minutes with Vidal out of game on 89 minutes getting a red card.
