Dangerous TikTok “outlet” challenge got warned by authorities
Nowadays everyone loves to go viral with the new challenges that come in the TikTok app and make
their viewer entertained.
Some people are running a dangerous challenge in the popular TikTok app that has been uploaded to
the video app, officials said.

Saying trending "outlet challenge," it partially inserts a brick portion of the mobile device charger into the wall outlet, then slides a buck into the brick's open metal pin. The result is an explosion of an electric spark.
This challenge caused major property damage to Westford Academy, a high school in Westford, Massachusetts. Students facing a fire, property destruction, and disorderly conduct, ABC News affiliate reported in Boston. (WCVP)
Two students at Plymouth North High School in Plymouth, Massachusetts, took a challenge and burned two in the classroom.
Massachusetts State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostrovsky last week sent a memorandum warning state fire districts and schools of the dangers of the challenge. This ongoing viral video can damage the electrical stuffs of building," he said.
"It's not a matter of playing. It's dangerous. In that case, you can start a fire, damage your home, make it expensive to repair and cause you serious physical harm. (WAAY31)

"No one should play with electricity or carry the plugs in a dangerous way," Frank Dwyer, a spokesman for the New York Fire Department, told ABC News in an email.
