Motorola Razr

Is Motorola Razr a new turnover for foldable phones?

The Motorola is back again with an unexpected and reinvented phone, the Razr. It is a series of mobile phones by Motorola. Due to its eyes catching appearance and thin profile, it is initially marketed as an exclusive model phone. It really is an amusing thing when you hold it in your hand for the first time.

The first Motorola Razr was the V3 which was first introduced in July 2004 and was released in the market in the third quarter of 2004. The V3 was soon followed by its improved version V3i which was in collaboration with Apple Inc. The Razr series was in the market until July 2007, when the succeeding Motorola Razr2 was released.  The succeeding Razr2 models were the V8, the V9, and the V9m. Despite its striking appearance, the sales were not that good.

After the decades and years of struggling in the market, the Razr is back but it's an Android smartphone that can be folded in half. Motorola officially announced its modern spin on the iconic flip phone. The new Razr is probably the different take on the foldable phones that we have seen so far. Instead of trying to change the tablets into a smaller size, it turns a conventional sized smartphone into something tiny and very pocketable.

The Razr has changed the look and the way the foldable phones used to be. The phone is half the size of your palm and when it is unfolded it appears to be a normal size phone. It has a small screen in the front that is visible when it is folded, which acts as an off-screen where you can see the time and notifications and also consists of a camera that acts as a front and back camera when it is folded and unfolded respectively.
