The Coronavirus is rampaging all around the world and there have been cases reported from different countries every day. The latest news on coronavirus is now heard from UAE. UAE has confirmed its first case of the virus on a family that just returned from China, Wuhan.
Looking at the situation, many countries are restricting the travel to China and lately, BA ( British Airways) has suspended all its flights to China. BA is one of the busiest Airway flights to China and now they are saying," customer safety is prioritized. So, we apologize for the inconvenience".
UK government is planning on retreating its citizens from China, maybe around 300 British people are in the mainland area. Likewise, Australia has been trying to quarantine its 600 citizens on Christmas Island, 2000km from the mainland. Other EU countries are also repatriating their citizens from China. Japan and the US have also started to plan on repatriation. Meanwhile, many other flights from different countries to China are canceled.
To date, the virus has killed around 130 people and the number is just rising and it has not stopped spreading. Around 6000 cases have been detected and 9000 are suspected of being infected. 16 countries are under the virus threat causing major inconvenience to public health. The Chinese NHC (National Health Commission) is giving a clear note saying that the outbreak of viruses could still take 10 more days to the peak. The NHC has also confirmed that the virus is a human-to-human transferring virus.
The virus is supposed to cause a respiratory infection causing the sudden death of patients. This virus basically affects people with low immunity, like elderly people and children. Still no vaccine or cure has been introduced. So, countries around the world, concerned about the citizens are doing best to bring back their citizens from China.
