Eminem released new album: Music to Be Murdered By

The American rapper currently released his new album "Music To Be Murdered By". It was released on January 17,  2020 and it is his eleventh studio album. There was no official announcement of the album in the same way to his previous album Kamikaze. The album was produced by the rapper himself and Dr. Dre. The album runs for almost 64 and half minutes and is of Hip hop and horror core genre. Alongside his album, he also released a music video "Darkness". The poster and the name of the album is inspired by the 1958 album cover by Jeff Alexander , Alfred Hitchcock.  

The album which was a midnight surprise to everyone has received lots of mixed reaction while he faces strong criticism for the track "Unaccommodating" for its lyric. The track was in reference to the Manchester bomb attack at Ariana Grand concert that killed 22 people. The people are said to find the lyric offending and upsetting at the same time. The rapper said some lyrics in the album was designed to empower the people and cause a positive change to the shock. He also added that the album was not intended for the people who are easily offended. On the beginning of the song, Eminem raps : "I'm contemplating yelling 'bombs away' on the game/ Like I'm outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting ", which was followed by the sound of an explosion. 

 

The singer writes in his Twitter statement the offending lyric had been taken out of context, that weren't intended to be taken literally. He also gives a message to all the listeners.

"Gentle listener,

"In today's wonderful world, murder has become so commonplace that we are a society obsessed and fascinated by it. I thought why not make a sport of it, and murder over beats? So before you jump the gun, please allow me to explain.

"This album was not made for the squeamish. If you are easily offended or unnerved at the screams of bloody murder, this may not be the collection for you. Certain selections have been designed to shock the conscience, which may cause positive action. Unfortunately, darkness has truly fallen upon us.

"So you see, murder in this instance isn't always literal, nor pleasant. These bars are only meant for the sharpest knives in the drawer. For the victims of this album, may you rest peacefully. For the rest of you, please listen more closely next time. Goodnight!

"With deepest sympathy, Eminem."

The singer and the rapper who has sung 81 songs is all time favorite to most to the youth today. He has been an inspirational personality and one of the best rapper in the world with a Grammy Award. Eminem is also known as one of the fastest rappers in the world.
