Highlights on Coronavirus: What's been happening?

As of today, more than 12000 people are infected by the virus all around the world and killing at least 200 people inside China. Since it's breakout Chinese people are under various restrictions and under strict commands to follow. More than 60 million people are lockdown in Wuhan City and many other cities. On the other hand, countries around the world are trying to bring their citizens as soon as possible from China. It is a great pity to see Chinese people going through such a devastating change following the virus outbreak.

The virus that is said to have evolved from bat or snake is under great threat to the world. And since the coronavirus is now declared as a global health emergency, the Race has begun to find an antidote or any other cure to stop the virus from killing people and spreading. The doctors, scientists, and researchers all around the world are trying their best to stop this rampage and health officials are positive towards this project to bring this virus down.

What's more surprising to this situation is that Chinese people along with some East Asians people are facing racism. Asians Immigrants, mostly Chinese people are being called "Yellow Perils". One of the French papers published an article with the headline "Yellow alert". In East London, one of the Chinese journalists claimed that a man steps away from a Chinese woman wearing masks. Chinese or Asian immigrants' children are being bullied in many parts of the world. People are trolling and making bad jokes i.e. racist jokes on social media and falsifying stuff that is creating xenophobia. Immigrant Chinese and Chinese tourists are facing restrictions in restaurants and people are now likely to give them a trauma. As panic spreads, so do xenophobia. 

The virus is bringing businesses down in China. Many Chinese westerners are under severe loss regarding their business. There has been concern going on at the time or China-US trade war. And the stock market is under great loss, following the virus unfurl. 

Hence, it is of great loss that people are discriminating at some unspecified and misunderstood situations. Fear shouldn't be the cause of forgetting our values as a human. It should be addressed soon, many leaders and officials are saying.
